A large Sunni Ijtema was held in Ilkal, Bagalkot district under the banner of Jamat-e-Ahle Sunnat Karnataka. Sessions featured communal prayers, dua, and spiritual speeches by community leaders including Pir Sayed Muhammad Tanveer Hashmi and other scholars.
Sunni Dawate Islami organised its 32nd annual Ijtema at Wadi-e-Banda Nawaz, Gulbarga, also in Karnataka. The event included dedicated programs for all ages and is part of a long-standing religious convention that highlights fellowship, Islamic learning, and communal supplication.
In December 2025, minority welfare organisations and Islamic bodies across Karnataka actively participated in awareness and review programs focused on government minority schemes.
